Hello Everyone, and thanks for visiting my profile! This is Natalie, currently living in Greece. Letâs dive in and answer some questions.
The number one reason I got into working out, and fitness is that I had healthy individuals around me, especially my father. To this day, he is the one person I admire the most. At the age of 72, he still has a workout regime that is tailored to his needs, and of course, he is the one who makes all these changes.
So early on, I had people around me that were in good physical condition. At the same time, I was a healthy girl growing up, very active and enthusiastic about life. This period of happiness lasted until I was 13 years old.
Later on, my insecurities got a hold of me, and even though I wasnât overweight, I became ill with eating disorders. A lot goes into what makes someone obsessed with their eating patterns. If you ask me, most of the damage is what we go through in our lives, especially in the early stages of growing up. In my opinion, the comments we hear about us and our appearance should not be the center of attention. What matters is a healthy approach to something so important, which is our nutrition. It is one of the components we cannot miss out on because it is basic for survival.
Now I am in a position where I consistently work out and have a healthy relationship with food without judging some foods as good or bad; I read a lot about Nutrition and Fitness, so I decided to get certified. Now I document this journey because I have much to share, and it always feels good to share with others. I also got help from others to make it so far.
