I had poor and very little upper body strength so I initially wanted to become stronger in this area alone. Little do I know, I had no strength in most parts of my body! I thought that running 5 miles everyday was enough, but boy, was I ever so wrong. So, here we are.. 6 months into lifting and slowly making progress. Not much gains but I'm absolutely much stronger than when I first started. Back in July, the most weight I could manage was 40lbs (wide grip) on the Lat pull down machine at 15 reps. Earlier this week, I finally was able to break into 100lbs!!
