I originally started with working out and eating healthier after I realized how my bad habits were affecting my boyfriend of 5 years. He has Crohn's disease and was in a flare for 4 of those years. After his first bowel resection in February of 2014 and realizing that I was also weighing in at my heaviest (160lbs from 110 when we started dating), I realized I had some major changes to make. A few months ago I was diagnoses with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis and found out that the best way to manage symptoms was staying active and eating healthy, something I was already doing. Seeing how Jeff refuses to let his disease slow him down from his goals has been a major inspiration to me.
I love seeing how strong I can be. I'm 5'1 and have always been rather weak. I love that I'm learning how to box and lifting heavy weights motivates me to continuously push myself harder. Falling in love with the lifestyle has brought tremendous results both in weight loss and strength gain. My ultimate goal is to get down to 110-115lbs and 18-20% body fat.
