I started lifting weights in May of 2010 with the goal of entering my first figure competition on Oct 2nd, 2010.
I have been involved in different aspects of physical fitness my whole life.
As a child growing up in Minnesota I was a competitive figue skater.
I taught PE for 10 years, coaching cross-country skiing and running.
I began running in 2005 and have been racing for 2 years now.

Working out is a lifestyle for me. Without exercise my head does not stay fit!
I have a lot of energy and need to channel it poductively.
I love the addition of weight lifting for the sculting effects. It is amazing to watch your body change for the better.
