My now-husband introduced me to the Body-for-Life plan 10+ years ago. I lost about 30 pounds, gained a lot of muscle, and looked better than ever. Body-for-Life also started me on a dangerous binge cycle which I'm desperately working to break. In the last 10 years, my weight has fluctuated more than 100 lbs.
When I was pregnant, I gained around 60-70 lbs. I lost around 30 of it, but then gained almost all of it back through my son's first year, resulting in a high weight of over 270 lbs. In January 2012, I made the decision to change my life after getting laid off from my job. I lost the first 25 lbs through diet and exercise, then another 25 lbs through diet alone, then my weight loss stalled out.
As of October 2013, I have recommitted myself to working out and have lost an additional 20 lbs. I work out Monday-Friday on my hour long lunch break and go back to work a sweaty mess. I'm married - who am I trying to impress?
I am just recently under 200 pounds again. I couldn't tell you the last time that I weighed under 200 lbs and am so happy that I'm finally there. I can't wait to see how far I can go!
