Call me a "resolutioner" if you like but I decided that I have to change or die. I made my decision to start on Jan 1st 2013 after the holidays. My daily diet before Jan 1st consisted of breakfast 2 McGriddles and a large coke. For lunch 2 double quarter pounders, fries and a coke. Dinner was usually whatever the wife heaped on a plate for me.
Dec 22nd my Dr. advised me that if I continued down this path that I would not live long at all. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and have developed tachycardia (which does limit what I can do as far as working out). All of these conditions can be reversed with diet and exercise. That's what my Dr. says anyway. I came here to use this place as a type of support group, to help me achieve my goals.
Since being here I have found some very helpful people with the occasional @ss thrown in the bunch. I am doing this for me. I would like to live and see my daughter grow up, graduate, get married (not so much the marriage part but you get what I mean). Thanks to all those who help me along the way, and a big kiss my @ss to those who doubt me......hide and watch!
