I got into the gym by accident really. I was a small kid short and thin I loved running and wanted to start doing track and field in High School.Football season was first so I tried out for that as well.
I started to go to the YMCA while my folks where at work and played basketball and swam a lot there with my friends.
One day I was waiting on a friend to show up who was running late, I walked into the weight room by mistake and as I watched the other guys and gals in there working out I thought why not pick it up and learn. Over the next few weeks I made friends with some of people who lifted there and they started to teach me proper form and what was what in the gym. I was hooked from then on and always lifted every day.
Fitness has brough so much to my life that I don't know where to start. It gave me a positive boost not only for my self but my out look on life, I learned a long time ago that if you want it bad enough and train hard enough nothing will stop me from achiving my goals.
Working out gives me my down time where it's just me against.....me. I love the fact that I get to work out and for the hr or so I think about nothing but the weighs or the cardio and get to leave all my stress behind.
