When my husband and I started dating he got me to start lifting with him. Before that all I ever did was run. Running is great and all, but I was getting really bored with it and started dreading running every day. So I started lifting with my husband, fiancé at the time, and it was great! It became a hobby of ours and it was great! Then we got married and moved. When we moved we were broke and didn't have a gym so we weren't able to go lift. This is when I stopped working out. This past year I have just gotten really frustrated with how I look and feel. I started lifting again this past November and I am determined to get back into the best shape of my life!
I absolutely love working out for many reasons. It gives me a sense of confidence, which is a big reason. I have always had low self confidence, but even though I am no where near where I want to be I know that I am trying and slowly getting there. Working out is also a great stress reliever. I am a student teacher this next semester and next year I will begin teaching elementary kids. It is a stressful job so working out is the perfect stress reliever.
