My father got me into sports and the gym at the age of 14. I looked great as a teen and young adult, unfortunately, as I got older I adopted bad eating habits, and pretty much stopped working out for years. I started back working out in 2010 but still had my bad eating habits. Not seeing any results I fell back into the old habit of not working out at all.. After all, I still had a slender physique after I had my first child in 2001. I had my second child on 11/19/11. Before my daughter, I was 5'7 135, and was pretty happy with my body. However, in my pregnancy and after my pregnancy I continued my bad sloppy eating habits and weighed a whopping 180 lbs a month after I had my daughter. I decided that I just had to do something. I was not happy with my appearance. So, I started back working out seriously in Jan 2012. I stayed at it for about a year, then got pregnant again, fell off, and started again in Sept 2015. My plan now is to not stop weight training.
What seems to deter me is that I am one of those unfortunate people that cannot seem to stomach supplements like protein powders, BCAA's etc.. Kinda sucks bigtime. I have to work twice as hard to get the results I want. However, I am up for the challenge =)
