I was always one of those gals who didn't have to do too much to stay fit. I'd go to the gym but never with any serious intentions of hitting it hard. After my third child three years ago, I realized my body was going through different changes and it wasn't as easy to maintain what I once had. When I received news from the Dr. that I also had two tumors in my uterus and would have to go through chemotherapy, I decided to take ME seriously. Since I was in the beginning stages of monitoring blood levels, etc. I asked if I could give myself six months to try and "self heal". At the end of December I started my quest of a healthier, more fit, and cancer free me. Since December I have lost 20 lbs (I was 110 for years before baby and couldn't break 136 for the life of me after), my last ultrasound showed no signs of the tumors and my blood count is improving! :) So now, it is a must that I workout! Eating right, paying attention to my body, working out and keeping spiritual faith has literally saved my life. :)
Helps me clear my mind. I feel great afterwards and not only do I see results but everyone else around me does too! I feel when they see me, it motivates them to start on a new path to living healthier. Everyone says I look like I did in high school or my twenties, but actually I feel and think I look better than I did then! Your sexy never goes away, I believe that sometimes we just forget it's there. So as we get older we need to bring it back to life! :)
