I've always been an active person. I started dancing when I was a kid, and kept doing it until I was pregnant with my third child.
I became a runner ... and when the boys started playing soccer, I started playing soccer. Looking to be better, I upped my running game and started doing races. But I needed to be stronger, so I started lifting weights. This was over 10 years ago!
I stopped playing soccer when it got to rough for me, I couldn't afford being hurt; so I started complementing my weight lifting routine with yoga.
Living in Austin, where everybody is so athletic, you find yourself trying to be better, to try new things. That is how I got to participate in a triathlon. I loved it! Mostly the cycling part.
But always, lifting weights, it my favorite! That is why I decided to become a certified personal trainer, and now, I got it I can't wait to start changing people's lives!
The feeling of growing stronger, little by little; to see your physique slowly changing, is priceless!
