I've been a dancer and cheerleader my entire life, but I've also always been skinny. I never lifted or even thought much about lifting until I saw my first fitness competition - it was a totally eye-opening experience!!! All of the competitors had such incredible bodies and could do all these amazing things, I was in absolute awe! It really inspired me to work out seriously and to start lifting weights.
I've always loved pushing myself in the dance studio, now I also love pushing myself hard in the gym- it gives me so much energy and lifting heavy makes me feel like a super woman!!! My dance friends have nicknamed me the Terminator because of my muscles LOL! I entered and won several local bikini contests in college that lead me to think about consider becoming a fitness competitor. In 2013, my 15 years of gymnastics and dance paid off when I entered and won my first fitness competition, and in 2014, I earned my Pro card. Right now, I'm on hiatus as I refocus on my dance career, but I look forward to getting back into competition shape and getting back on the circuit.
