I took a conditioning class in 8th grade. I loved lifting and improving my performance, but once middle school was over, I stopped working out for a while. Then I eventually wanted to get back in shape again, so I purchased a gym membership. At first, like everyone else, I wanted to just get ripped or look like Brad Pitt (lols). but eventually as I progressed and improved, my goals changed, and I became more and more interested in actual competitive bodybuilding. I wanted to get bigger, and have something thats truly impressive, over someone just considering themselves to be "in good shape"
I love the strive and rewards for improving yourself through physical activity. On top of that, it gives me structure and organization in my life, as well as relieving stress and having just good time to myself. I love learning new things about fitness and the human body, along with all things nutrition.
