I had started working out in January 2003 for an NPC Figure competition held 5 weeks later. I wasn't sure how I would do with such a short time to train, but I got 3rd place! Anyways, I did 4 more competitions between then to 2005 always placing in the Top 5. However, I ran into health problems where I was gaining weight with no relief in sight. My doctors were testing me for ovarian cancer and even though I was still working out and eating somewhat clean, nothing was stopping the weight gain; but as mysteriously as it started, it stopped. I had gone up to 150 lbs and 35% BF from 115 lbs and only 10% BF. Then I had a car accident that messed up my shoulder pretty bad, so there was that setback, ugh. But now my shoulder is healed pretty much, after a year and I'm on the downward trend. I'm at 135 lbs and about 30%. I want to get back to almost competition shape so I can fit back into all my clothes. I wouldn't buy any bigger clothes except a few essential items as I wasn't going to settle on the weight gain. Hopefully, I can make my goal by this summer.
