I was a very skinny girl in high school. I remembering saving my allowance and buying books on gymnastics and workouts to build muscle. I despised my body as a teenager. I been working out all my life. All through college I took weight training courses and anticipated on becoming fit, strong, and healthy. Even after 2 pregnancies I was always so thin. It was a constant struggle to be strong and gain muscle mass. I am proud to say that I am 39 years old and never felt healthier, stronger, and sexier. I love my body. I have accomplished it by eating healthy and being committed to hard core workouts involving boxing, cycling, weight training, and yoga.
Our bodies are so amazing. I love being able to form my body into a sculpture of what I feel is beautiful. I love being strong. I love people-guys and girls, saying wow I love your arms or how do you look so fit. It's not easy doing what's right for your body, but the results are pleasing and fulfilling. Though its not the only thing in life that is priority, but it is important to me.
