I was always athletic growing up from running cross country & track in highschool to playing club soccer for 8 years. I have ALWAYS been super competitive in everything I do, but I always just ate crap food. I remember seeing my now coach( Maryjo Cooke) years ago while she was training for her pro card in figure at my gym and said to myself " I wanna be a fitness model" lol sounds lame but that sight hasnt left my head since. I never knew anything about nutrition and tried every fad ridiculous diet out there until I picked up a Muscle & Fitness hers and read that they actually do eat haha and how much hard work goes into gaining muscle/loosing fat!
I love it because its my "outlet" the only place I feel at peace you could say. I could be having the worst day of my life, but could walk into the gym and feel like I own the place. I always feel great about myself when im there, its a different high.
