When I was young I was always very active, basketball, softball, and horses were my life. I was in great shape in JR College, I had some really great coaches that really pushed us to be not only in great endurance condition but strength as well. Then I graduated and went to a university. Thus beginning the downward spiral of my condition. Top Ramen is not the best thing to eat, but it is the cheapest. As I got older and heavier I still remained active throughout the days riding horses. Then after my Thyroid was removed due to cancer, I began to really pack on the fat. Now cancer free, and a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old daughter, I have a big obstacle....my soggy, jiggly belly, legs, etc. After being so down on myself, and being afraid to interact with people face to face, or even letting my husband see me with out clothes, I have decided to do something about it.
I feel so great after I lift/workout. I have so much energy. I really have to push myself to go workout. I started the challenge Dec 31st and can actually see a difference, eventhough the scale is a mortal enemy and lies. The tape doesn't.
