Growing up I was always an active child, all the way up into my early 20's. Enjoying a lot of cardio! I loved to run in nature, over a treadmill in the gym. I preferred cardio over weight training, so naturally the strongest part of my body were my legs. And I knew it!! After meeting my husband, (ex husband) priorities changed. Which is normal to a lot of women in society. We put things before ourselves and it eventually catches up with us! When I finally looked in the mirror, truly looked in the mirror. I notice, I wasn't the same person and didn't know who that person was looking back at me! Things had to change.. And they did!
I love the rush! The feeling and energy after a great workout! That boost of confidence.. The actual satisfaction of setting a goal and completing it! It's a battle no doubt, getting up in the mornings is like pulling teeth.. And some days you just feel like total crap! But when you get going, you start sweating and win the battle with yourself! Haha! It's so rewarding!
