I joined bb.com in Dec 2013, but did nothing with it except order supplements ans get bigger. Then at an all time high I broke my hip in Feb 2014. Lost a couple of lbs. Then in May 2014 had my other hip replaced and at an all time weight high it was time to do something. I started eating better and physical therapy. Now I'm done with physical therapy and the doc has released me, so it's time to get started on my journey and this is the place to do it.
UPDATE: So I haven't really done too much since joining BB.com and then they came up with this 200K challenge. This is just the motivation I needed to get me back on track. And whether or not I win or even come in, in the top 10 I'm still winning for getting myself back in shape and up off the couch.
Since this is the beginning for me I can only say that so far I feel better both about myself doing it and feel better physically. I can only imagine it gets better from here. Well I know it does, I used to workout back in the day, I think a lot of us have those "back in the day" stories. So I'm just glad I'm here beginning again, for the last time...
