Use to play varsity sports in high school. Kept my physique through the years. Then a very bad car accident happened where i spent two months literally in bed, not moving around much, losing muscle, not really gaining weight, but when I was finally able to do physical activities again, I couldn't lift more than 15 lbs. I got a gym membership, found a plan to stick with, and since then have been building both my core strength and my self esteem back to what it was. As of right now, day 50 in my workout (1/21/14), I'm 5lbs away from curling my high school weight with dumbells. I'm almost back to what I thought was my prime within a month and a half. If I stick with it, I'll be in my prime now =)
It makes you feel amazing. Every morning I don't want to get up because of the time, but then I remember GYM! It is the highlight of my day. It gives me focus, strength, energy, and vitalizes my mind, body and soul. I feel at ease as nothing can get in my way at the start of the day. I wouldn't give the feeling up for anything.
