I have always been an athlete my whole life playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and running track. I was never that person who dreaded practice or working out, instead I was the team player who got everyone motivated and pumped to practice for the games. As I got older and stopped playing sports I started to become apart of the gym scene by lifting weights and doing cardio by pushing my body to the extreme.
I enjoy learning about how and why the body works. I studied Sports and Exercise Science in school and started learning the best training techniques, form, functional training, weight training, cardio training, HIIT training and nutrition; that I just became engulfed in the fitness industry. I became a personal trainer and help to inspire many of my clients and the people around me to understand that fitness and eating healthy shouldn't be a chore it should be a lifestyle, something you should look forward to doing every single day and knowing that there are so many support groups out there to help you achieve the unthinkable. Working out is a stress reliever and a way to live a longer more enjoyable life. Seeing peopleâs lives change because of the information Iâve given them and pushing them to limits they never thought they could reach is what gives me the determination and motivation to train hard, eat clean, and practice what I preach.
I love working out because it's "me time". I spend most of my time personal training people and helping them reach and obtain their fitness goals, and setting them up on a workout and nutrition plan. When I get my workouts in I feel empowered and motivated to train hard. I feel that working out is a mental thing. It makes me feel good to know that I can formulate my mind and body as one. I know If I give up I'm only letting myself down, therefore I put in the effort to eat healthy and push my bodys limits. I honestly believe if you've been there in the mind you will go there in the body.
