Went on a deployment to Iraq, i was always a small girl (at highschool graduation i was 103 lbs) and when i joined the military i gained 30 lbs of fat in a matter of 3 years. In July 07 i went on a deployment to iraq and i became serious about loosing the weight. I started doing a lot of cardio and lifting. When i returned to the states i focused more on lifting and now i just want to stay healthy and see how far i can go with out using any illegal drugs. I decided yesterday that i want to take this seriously and start a career out of it. I was just doing it for fun in the past but i am on board...so feel free do give me any advice
Working out is my serenity, itâs the part of the day where I can connect with God and push myself further than I thought imaginable. I love getting up at 4 am, complete a three hour work out, and most of the world is still sleeping. And the looks the guys give me when I lift (as if they are about to run over to rescue me from the weight as if I donât know how much im lifting) is priceless when I complete a set of 8-10 reps.
