I was involved with fitness most of my life. I owe much of that motivation watching my parents and participating with them. My mom and I would workout to Jane Fonda, my dad and I did some weights and as a family we took walks together. The weight bench was like my jungle gym and I was always excited to show off my strength especially to the boys.
I turned 18 and went to college for Printing & Publishing. Most of my free time went to the college weight room. I fell in love with lifting and started to learn a lot from a teacher who was also a power lifter. He took me off that smith machine and showed me how to do squats and deadlifts with the Olympic bar. I loved it. From that point I continued to work hard and heavy and decided I was going to go to school for fitness to help share that love of fitness I had with others
