I got in trouble in my teens and had to go to jail. I was in a tuff spot and had to work out to survive. During that time I liked how my body was responding and wanted to know more. I started reading every magazine and book there was on exercise, anatomy, physiology, bio-mechanics, and nutrition.
I love training for many reasons but the one that comes to mind the most is its my escape from the daily stresses of life. No matter how crazy my day maybe, training brings me to a place where nothing bothers me at all. I'm so at peace when I'm in the gym under some weight or just jogging along in a park somewhere. Training also has strengthened me mentally. Accomplishing goals is the biggest payoff but training or just dieting alone has taught me how to persevere in all aspects of my life. I've also learned to focus on delayed gratification instead of the instant I always craved. O-yeah, I also love working out because seeing the face of that special someone when you take your clothes off is priceless. lol
