I had always been fairly active through high school, but once I hit college and a legal drinking age, all of that wrong out the window. I knew I wasn't happy with the lifestyle I was living, but was too overwhelmed to do anything about it. I started dating a guy last summer who was always comparing me to his ex(reason being why he is now my ex!), who was a marathon runner, etc, and I went through some major body issues, etc. I started running(more like jog/walk/jog/walk at first) and realized it would be difficult but I could do it. I moved 2 hours away about 3 weeks into my fitness journey and that was the biggest and best thing I have ever done! Not knowing a soul, I signed up for a gym and researched a ton on workouts, etc. I started lifting in November, after the initial fear of being the only girl in the weights section wore off and have fallen in love!!!
