I originally began working out for wrestling in my junior year at 145 Ibs. My friends began to have an interest in going to the gym, and in turn, eventually influenced me to join them. I thought it'd be a good idea to put on some muscle and improve my overall strength and endurance. It was also a good hobby too. Between being something my friends and I enjoyed, along with benefiting me athletically, I accomplished many of my goals. As I progressed and grew into myself, I began to put on weight (in muscle), and grow to 160 Ibs by the end of my jr year. I looked and felt great about myself, which only motivated me more. I also wanted to play football my senior year, which motivated me to work even harder. By the time football season came around, I was 170 Ibs and felt great. I managed to bulk up a bit, while maintaining my athleticism. However, throughout the season, I was at the gym very rarely. Nonetheless, I stayed in shape due to practices, drills, etc. I just did not make any gains. After the season, things took a turn for the worse and I fell off the boat completely for about a year. I lost some gains, and dropped down to 160. Second semester in my freshman year of college, I began to gain interest once again. I made minor gains, but after a few months, of going back and forth sticking to it, I made some decent gains and buckled down for the past year. Recently, my car broke down, and I stopped once again for about a month and half, until I got my car fixed. Now here I am today ready to pick up where I left off. I lost some gains, but I am motivated to get them back and go even farther. I am 165 today, and my goal weight would be about 180. I would like to gain some good muscle mass, while maintaining flexibility and athleticism.
