I was tired of being the skinny kid in high school. When I got to college, I knew it was as perfect time as any to start making the change I wanted to see in myself. I joined the Air Force ROTC program and began doing basic physical training 3 days a week. From there, I started reading fitness books, magazines, and internet articles to learn more about lifting weights on my own. It wasn't until my senior year of college (2009) when I started drastically changing my diet. Since then, I have cut out almost all processed foods and follow a 90% Paleo diet. My new goal, and motivation, was to do whatever it took to get six-pack abs. Every day, I strive to be in the best shape I can possibly be.
Working out and lifting weights gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Getting that last rep, fighting until exhaustion, and seeing those results you've worked so hard for; there's no greater feeling.
