I started back in 2008 in an effort to gain weight. I was just under 100 lbs and was struggling to try to reach that 100 lb mark. My personal trainer at the time was a body builder and put me through some killer workouts. Not long after starting, I fell in love with it and became addicted -- the more progress I saw, the harder I worked! I gained 12-14 lbs within 6 months and loved my "new" body. Unfortunately, I got out of working out due to life -- moving, having a baby, etc. I just got back into it again about 5 months ago. Again, my primary purpose was to gain weight. My dream would be to compete in fitness competitions one day. Right now, I take it day by day so as not to get discouraged. I'm extremely hard on myself but that's what makes me push myself harder and harder each time I get into the gym. It's my drug of choice!!

I feel more energetic. It builds more confidence.
