There's really nothing special to my story. I just finally got fed up with going back and forth between being skinny fat and fat (165 to 210 to 170 back to 210 through some life problems). I've enjoyed sports my whole life and lifting weights since at least high school, but never had any hard set goals or friends with similar fitness goals and desire to hit the gym so my motivation fluctuated pretty regularly.
Finally got myself a "bro" with somewhat similar fitness goals who gets the same joy out of sports and lifting that I do a couple years ago except we didn't know it until around summer 2012. That's when I started really learning about and researching how to reach my goals and the nutrition and supplementation to go along with it. After following some awful, out-dated bulking advice and going up from around 170-175 to almost 210 lbs, I started what is going to be the longest cut of my life in February 2013. I hate to lose any muscle, but it's going to have to last until around October 2013 for me to get where I need to be with the amount of lean mass I currently have (shooting for approx. 10% @ 160 lbs from approx 21% @ 179 lbs as of the end of May 2013).
