I have always been active growing up, playing as many sports as I could try and really loving being on the throwing team for our high school...My fitness levels declined some after I graduated...after some health issues and dropping from 175 to 125 in a matter of less than a year I got better and then had my son...I have struggled ever since until one wonderful day I get a call saying a won a free start up at a gym nearby me...It still took another year before I started making myself go on a regular basis...this helped motivate me and i did see some results but nothing as dramatic as when I decided to start doing Crossfit almost two months ago and using the Paleo Food lifestyle and within that amount of time I have put on a ton of muscle and dropped 8 pounds and two pant sizes...I am looking forward to my fitness journey and hope to compete this time next year...Even if I don't win anything it is one thing I can say I gave my all and I can cross off my bucket list...It is better to die with memories than die with dreams.
The incredible feeling I get just in the anticipation of going to the gym and giving my 100% in my workout....Feeling cannot be described in words...it is just a vibration that runs through me and puts a big smile on my face...I love that I can say I am loving my body and how it is transforming and I used to not want to look in the mirror when my clothes were off...Best feeling in the world.
