I decided one day that I needed to expand my views on fitness, beyond what I already knew which was dance, yoga, and swimming. So I signed up for a basic weightlifting class in college and loved it. I loved it so much that another classmate and I would study Anatomy & Phys while on the treadmill or lifting. We would quiz each other and get a great workout in at the same time. The following year I decided to kick it up a notch (or a maybe a gazillion) after hearing about Crossfit. My husband and I joined one of the two that was available in our city at the time (now there is like 10 or more!!!) and I became addicted. However life has it ups, downs, changes, and struggles so unlike most who are addicted I did not stick with it due to financial reasons and time restrictions with studying and work (in other words two excuses, and one restriction to attend Crossfit)
