I started working out when I was a little girl...I would say about 10 years. My mother would run marathons, but by no means was she ever thin. She would buy Jane Fonda work out videos for herself and I would do them at home. She bought Sweatin' to the Oldies and I would do them. Later we moved to California when I was 12 and a friend introduced me to Denise Austin and I would do those workouts. Between all these workout videos I would also participate in school athletic events such as track and field. I was also in JROTC for four years which required that I take PFT tests regularly. Meanwhile my mother would get more work out videos like Tae Bo and I would still do those as well. As I got older I got into step aerobics, floor aerobics and started to run more. Four children later, I enjoy boxing, running, weight training, and I teach zumba. :) Working out has been part of my life always :)
