I went in for a checkup at the doctors office a few years after high school and I had ballooned up to 270 from my "normal" weight of 230 where I had been for several years. At only 5'9" I knew that I had let myself go way too far and wanted to get healthy. I began reading men's health, taking nutrition and workout tips and putting them to good use. Since 2009, I have managed to lose 70 pounds and keep it off. I came across bodybuilding.com when I was looking for the latest weight loss supplements online. The articles have been very helpful in giving me the knowledge to achieve my greatest milestone yet when I made it down to 199. It was the first time since my freshmen year of high school that I weighed less than 200. Then I managed to fit into a medium shirt for the first time since middle school.
The hardest part of working out for me is actually getting motivated to get to the gym. Once I'm there though, I go straight to work. The best feeling is when the workout is done and I can feel good knowing I helped my body.
