As a kid I was always into different sports including basketball, volleyball, and lacrosse but my main passion was dance. After high school I needed something to keep me active. Kickboxing and the gym became a regular routine for me at the age of 18. I wanted to further my education in fitness from reading magazines and listening to trainers around the gym. I signed up for courses that would improve my knowledge and keep me motivated! Crossfit, kettlebell, olympic lifting and powerlifting are a few that helped me create workout programs that I loved and worked for me. At the age for 26, my priorities have changed slightly, work and my family have become a busy part of my life. Working 12 hour shifts an hour from home makes working out a bit harder then it used to be. BUT there is no excuse..2016 is my year for a change. eating better. a healthy lifestyle, and getting back to feeling the way i did 5 years ago is just what I need to feel like me again.
exercise is the best way to blow off some steam or let out stress after a bad day. A morning workout can also change the total outcome of your day! It is a confidence booster for me and makes me feel unstoppable. group workouts i love the competition and working out with my hubby I love how it brings us together on a different level. working out calms me and after a few days of missing the gym I'm just not myself!
