It was in my mid-twenties that I decided to do regular bodybuilding, take-up squash and road running. I always did sport in school - mainly Rugby, Swimming and Athletics.
I have been hooked on bodybuilding ever since and not more than a couple of weeks (maximum) have ever gone by since then , that I have missed my sessions of working out in the gym. The only time I did stay away for about 4 weeks was in my mid-thirties due to an injury i received while playing Rugby.
The reason I love the sport of bodybuilding is the immediate transformation that one notices when you are disciplined enough to make working out part of your daily fitness routine.
The emotional , physical and positive up-beat psychological changes are remarkable and I must say very addictive ( in a good way). When coupled with adequate diet and balanced nutrition and proper rest - its an unbeatable formula for a healthy and productive way of life.
I love all aspects of bodybuilding and respect the benefits it rewards me for the hours I indulge in savoring the ability to challenge your body on a daily basis by hitting the gym.
