I had a gym membership in high school, but my friend and I didn't really know what we were doing. I eventually gave up. I started reading online when I was in college and decided to try again. My motivation was "curls for the girls" kind of thing. I got a very bad back injury before I really got any where. I had to take a break for 8 months! I don't give upso I started again this year, and I'm finally making progress and doing things right. Now its worth so much more to me than trying to impress bishes. Its something I truly have a passion for now and gives me so many so many good vibes.
When I'm working out I'm completely focused. I get into a zone and all my other problems just go away. Its MY time. Its like a healthy escape from reality. I also feel more confident from working out. I don't even have to look any different. The very act of working out pumps all kinds of good juices into my body that makes me just that much more happy, confident and sociable. In fact, lifting is the one thing that makes me happiest other things.
