I used to be in pretty good shape in high school. Then I started partying in college and after. It is time for a change. I would make half-ass attempts while I was in my partying days. I feel it is behind me now. I have quit smoking and drinking trying to change my ways for the better. It all starts with being happy with yourself, and only I can control that. I joined this site a few years ago, and I just didn't keep working out. Now I feel that I must succeed, or I will destroy myself with bad habits. I love meeting new people who know the struggle or who are just very positive inspiring people.
I feel great after working out. Right now I am mainly running to get rid of the excess fat I have put on my body by beer and fast food! I quit smoking awhile ago and running have made my lungs feel great. I have so much more oxygen than I did before. I have a lot more energy throughout the day! I want to get into great shape to get into competitive golf again, and for my overall well being.
