I started lifting years ago when I played high school football. Back then, it was a way of life. As I watched my body and focus develop, I became hooked. I continued to train throughout college, but these days, with a wife, 2 young children and a job that requires a lot of travel, it has been a real challenge keeping conditioned. I have allowed all of the distractions in my life to interfere with my passion for fitness. About a year ago, I started making the effort to get healthy again, and now, I finally feel that I have some balance to my life again!
A lot of people don't realize the sacrifices and the challenges that go into building that ideal body. When I combine good nutrition with hard work in the gym, and see the results, it makes me want to work harder and get better at everything I do. It energizes my whole life, and I can see that hard work and sacrifice pays off.
