I started going to the gym and paying attention to my health in November 2011. I had struggled with a drinking and drug problem for the majority of my young life and at the time i decided to get sober i was 160 lbs and had a list of health problems. I had come close to death from the disease of addiction and knew something had to change. Its been a back and forth battle but after overcoming some hurdles I have made being sober and maintaining a healthy lifestyle the most important thing in my life. The gym has become my outlet, my safe place. I leave the stresses of life in the locker room and go to work sculpting the body I have always wanted, to be the warrior I have always wanted to be. I have goals today that can be overcome with a little sweat and hard work, and I am perfectly ok with that!
I love the feeling i get after a thorough work out. I love eating healthy and taking good healthy supplements. I love looking in the mirror and seeing progress. I am not perfect but if I work at it and do the best i can at eating right and working out the rewards are tremendous. The feeling of accomplishment inside and outside the gym keep me motivated. When people compliment me on my health and the way i look I feel like ive done a damn good job. I strive to be the best me and help my friends accomplish that goal as well. feeling good and being helpful to others.
