Well I first got into working out in high school and I loved it. When high school ended i kind of went down the wrong path and was drinking heavily. I played music for years, but after about 10 years of waking up hung over, I dropped out of the music scene all together(Which I will rejoin once I feel the time is right). I got to a point where I was so tired and couldn't stand the way I felt in my own skin. I complained about my weight and was depressed about being embarrassed to go to the lake and take my shirt off, instead I just would stay on the beach with my clothes on. So I decided to do something about it and get back into fitness full force.
Working out makes me feel good about myself. I feel like I'm making progress and I like leaving the gym feeling like I'm stronger then when I went in. I have more energy and have a more positive attitude about things. I want to be around to see my kids grow up, I want to be able to ride my bike and play like a kid. Working out helps me achieve those goals.
