After having my son and being a single mom, juggling school, work, and parenthood taking care of myself physically and emotionally became a minimal priority. I met an incredible man who cherished healthy living and body building and whilst I spent time with my husband, I strictly analyzed my diet and life-style. It was like a slap to the face at how unhealthy and unfit I actually was. Once I started lifting, I never went back! I am now a more energetic, healthy and better role model mom! :D
It really is such a physically., spiritually and emotionally transforming thing. It has helped me analyze not only my physical fitness, but my overall flaws. It helped me mature, learn self discipline and understand what I really want in life. I feel better when I lift. I love seeing my muscles grow. I love being able to look bsck and remember "wow. I remember when I could lift that. "
