I started at a very young age of 7yrs old I believe so in fitness; My dad was my inspiration and instructor while he was around me for that short period of time; My dad was a bodybuilder who introduced me into fitness at a very young age; once he decided i was ready to lift he brought me my first set of weights and bench as a christmas present then he turn around and drop it off at my home, my parents were separated while I was a child. I began to train in the 7th grade with an older girl who was in high school in the 11th grade, she and I click very well although we had a huge gap in age rank. She became a close friend of mine who lived around the corner of my house. We'd travel from one side of town to another side of town on the city bus after school on a daily basis. When the school bell rang I'd jump and head off to meet up with her, and we'd go from the west side of town where we were growing up to the other side of town the east side. Not many people would travel to that side of town; true it was a dangerous side of town like any other side of town, but mainly they were illiterate and racist, because that side of town that we'd show up with nothing but a majority of black people living there in that section of town. My girl friend was also into bodybuilding too. Now as an adult she became a high rank Col in the Army who lives in N.Korea. While growing up her and I would travel daily over there and had a blast out there, we had fun doing our workouts. We had some bodybuilders in the gym that would recruit us on a daily basis. They spotted and train us while we visit the palce daily. We learn so much from them! The gym was located inside of a place call Barbara Jordan Community Center. So I pursue the iron from middle school unto my first high school years then was I got to the 11th grade while in high school i began to leave fitness and pursue a hobby on the side i drag race cars and was given the nickname hotrod which explains why i named myself isabelhotrod; i was into cars and still am but i don't drag race no more too risky and well I grew out of it; After years of being absent from fitness i decided to return back into fitness in 2008 is when i started to get into it and get serious; The rest is history.
