I started working out when I was a teenager, but due to life circumstances, fell in and out of it over the years. I always admired the physiques of bodybuilders, but never had the confidence I needed to make it happen for myself. Now, I have the self esteem, knowledge, and drive that I always hoped I would have. I'm ready to rock it out in 2012!!!
P.S. From 2014-2017, I was been dealing with a herniated disc resulting from 2 rear end car accidents in 2014. I tried to get back to the gym, but kept having setbacks. In Sept 2017, I had surgery to repair a supposed hernia, which turned out to be a non cancerous tumor. Needless to say, my body has suffered due to lack of activity, depression, and poor eating habits. I plan on harnessing my energy from 2012, and recreating a rockin' body!!!!
I love lifting weights, and watching my body change. I find it extrememly helpful to keep a work out journal, so I can chart my progress. It's amazing to see the results over time. Also, I LOVE the way it feels when I am strong...I have more confidence, I feel more outgoing, and I have a positive outlook on life. Friends have even commented that I seem "different". It's called endorphins, people!! :)
