I have been around body building for about 10 years as my wife was drawn to it and has over the years has made it apart of her daily/weekly life, but I personally have never really lifted weights regularly in my 46 years of life. You would think that having seen my wife's transformation over the years would have motivated me, but after several attempts to get into a routine, I was never able to put it together consistently. I know what to do, now I just need to actually do it!
I can't say yet that I Love working out...just being honest. However, in life there are a lot of things that we don't like to do right away...but after we see the end results we are glad we did not give up. I am looking forward to following in love with feeling healthy, and looking my best... I know its not going to be easy, but what worthy thing in life is ever worth it if it came easy.
I am excited to participate in the Bodybuilding.com contest as, honestly, these are the kind external things that helped provide the spark to begin transforming my life. At 46 years with a sagging chest and waistline, it is far time to set some goals and stop making excuses!
