I've always wanted to be fit and healthy. I was an over weight teen and not very happy or confident with myself. I weight less now than when I got married.... :) I've had my home gym for many years, I would start and then life would happen!! So, 4 kids later......youngest child going on to double digits, lol I have more me time!
I recently just completed a challenge (Maxine's Burn Shape-up Challenge) lost 8kgs and gained muscle and knowledge that I never knew before and would like to try and keep the momentum going..
I like that I can see definition....my thighs will never be perfect, due to having a melanoma removed and leaving me with a 16 cm scar and some lymphadema, the pain after a good workout is better than the pain of arthritis and fybromyalgia :P but also it gives me personal time and keeps the "Black Dog" at bay......
