Once upon a time, I trained martial arts five days a week and was in pretty good shape. Then I got pregnant with my first child and after she was born, I was unable to drop the weight back off. I struggled with my weight for almost two years, trying to lose weight and get back in shape but getting discouraged because I never saw results no matter how long I trained or how often I ran. I'm now pregnant with my second child and dropped off almost 20 pounds basically overnight. I'm trying to get into better shape and eat better during this pregnancy to fight off the fat before I have a chance to gain it. I'm only going to be lifting a couple pounds until after this child is born and then plan to get serious.
**10/4/13 Update**
So my youngest daughter was born on 6/28/13. I am now in the same predicament as after my first pregnancy. I just can't seem to really lose much weight. My MusclePharm products are helping, but I'm no where near where I wanted to be after completing Insanity.. I lost roughly 10lbs.. Slightly discouraging. But I will be starting up either Insanity again or Les Mills Combat again in December or January.
