At 22 I got married to my amazing husband, and put on some extra weight. He has always loved everything about going to the gym and working out since I've known him. For a while I would just go just to be spending time with him, but it was like pulling my teeth to get me there, and I didn't enjoy it. Finally in February of 2015 I just woke up one day and was sick of my own crap and knew if I didn't like where I was, I had to move or nothing would change. I started listening to him about diet, and researched it myself as well! Once I got my nutrition under control and realized you in fact can't outtrain a fast food diet (who knew right) the pounds began to fall off. As I made progress, it became something I loved to do. The weight room is my happy place now, and on rest days I find myself missing it! A year ago I would have never believed I am where i am today, and I can't wait to see how much progress I make in 2016.
