About a year ago, my darling husband tipped the scales at about 130kg's. He trained most days of the week at the gym with no progress. Visiting a supplements shop, a chance meeting with a personal trainer 'Becks', took him on as a client and his weight started to shift. He soon caught the fitness bug. He convinced me to take up PT sessions with Becks starting in Feb this year. I only done it to make my husband happy lol. I have never been 'into' fitness before - it thought it was not my thing however, after much perseverance, dedication, support and encouragement from my husband and Becks, I have a new found love in fitness and now regularly work out.
I love the energy from working out, motivation and encouragement from everyone at my gym. For years I have heard people say 'healthy body, healthy mind', and I never believed it untill now that I have experienced it for myself! Since I've started working out, I'm holding on to less negative energy and am happier in general, not to mention the physical bonuses. Starting and going to the gym has motivated me to finally quit smoking!!! I've had an inner transformation and the outer transformation will be a bonus.
