I've always struggled with my weight and unhappiness (poor mental health, an autoimmune disorder, and other internal and external factors), but last year I finally started feeling peace and contentment. I feel like I'm at a good place now. And with that happiness came weight gain. I knew things had to change when I started avoiding events because my clothes no longer fit comfortably. So I joined my local gym and made the challenge to be happy AND in shape.

I love finding out how much weight my body is capable of moving!! I love how powerful it makes me feel. And every time I find a small change in my body, I'm like, "I did that! I've made this body!" I love it.
