I started my first year in high school. I joined the wrestling team where I had a significant amount of success on a national level up until I was about 24. I developed osteoarthritis, at which point I had to give up wrestling. I was able to focus more on strength training the last 12 years or so also due to my need to limit 'impact sports' activities. I've been limited in the last 18 months to my lifting capabilities due to a serious case of tendonitis in both elbows and my right shoulder. This page is dedicated to my journey back....
Everyone who works out knows how good they feel mentally and physically when on a good program. I like the way I looked when I was healthy and want to look good for my wife. It also eases the pain of my arthritis and I want to set a good example for my kids. It's also important to me that I be healthy so I can be active for the later years in my life.
